These statements are ARTICLE SIX of the ministry’s Articles of Incorporation.
We believe the Holy Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the only inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for every belief and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV) v16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
2 Peter 1:20-21 (NASB) v20 But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, v21 for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
We believe there is only one God. He is the Creator and Master of all things and infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Matthew 3:16-17 (ESV) v16 And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; v17 and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
We believe man was created in the image of God but chose to sin, and is therefore short of God’s glory, separated from God, and doomed to eternal damnation apart from personal acceptance of salvation offered through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1-3)
John 3:15-19 (NLT) v15 “that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.” v16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. v17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. v18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. v19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. That while the Son of God, He was also born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, was buried, rose again, and ascended to Heaven at the right hand of God, where He intercedes for us until His visible personal return to earth in power and glory, when He judges both the living and the dead.
Matthew 1:21-23 (NIV) v21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” v22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: v23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).
Matthew 3:17 (NIV) v17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
Matthew 28:7 (NIV) v7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
John 12:37 (ESV) v37 Though he had done so many signs before them, they still did not believe in him,
Acts 1:9-11 (GNT) v9 After saying this, he was taken up to heaven as they watched him, and a cloud hid him from their sight. v10 They still had their eyes fixed on the sky as he went away, when two men dressed in white suddenly stood beside them v11 and said, “Galileans, why are you standing there looking up at the sky? This Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way that you saw him go to heaven.”
Hebrews 4:15 (NASB) v15 and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so.
We believe that the present ministry of Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age was sent by the Father to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the Christian for godly living and service.
John 7:37-39 (ESV) v37 On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. v38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” v39 Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Acts 1:8 (NIV) v8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Galatians 5:22-23 (NASB) v22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, v23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
1 Corinthians 12:4-11 (ESV) v4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; v5 and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; v6 and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. v7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. v8 For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, v9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, v10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. v11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.
1 Peter 4:10 (NIV) v10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
We believe Jesus Christ is going to return soon and that at His appearing all men will be resurrected; those in Christ for eternal glory and joy with the Lord; and the rest to judgment and everlasting punishment.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (GNT) v16 Be joyful always, v17 pray at all times, v18 be thankful in all circumstances. This is what God wants from you in your life in union with Christ Jesus.
Revelation 20:11-15 (NIV) v11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. v12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. v13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. v14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. v15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
