Marriage & Money - Couples Retreat

 Take some time and get away for a weekend of nostalgia and romance at the wonderfully restored Henderson House Bed & Breakfast. Join Rev. Peter ♥ Karen DeGraaf and Rev. Mark ♥ Zerrin Oelze for an incredible retreat designed to help couples improve their money management skills and ability to communicate. These two issues alone comprise the bulk of all marriage difficulties, so let’s be proactive. Come join us as we focus on our relationship, love life, and desire to succeed at the real challenges life brings our way. 

Due to the limited number of rooms only 15 couples will be able to join us.  The retreat site is just 1 ½ hours north-west of Wichita in the town of Stafford, Kansas. So, take some time to get away from the daily distractions and focus on what God has to say about Marriage & Money. We have added a day to our retreat, so there will be plenty of free time and multiple times to talk about your relationship, and develop communication skills while you discuss goals, budget, how you plan to get out of debt, and prepare for retirement. 

Past couples have said – great value – incredible teaching – refreshing – saved our marriage – we have been closer in the last two months than in the last 10 years – I have hope again!

Your fee for the retreat has been designed to be as low as possible and only covers our best guess of actual “out of pocket” expenses. Your presenters are serving at no cost to you. You are encouraged, but NOT required to make gifts to the ministry. Cost for meals and accommodations is only $680 per couple, with a $150 deposit required 30 days in advance and a $100 discount for those that register before August 15, 2008. 

When you compare this to $250 or more that many seminars charge each participant, and then add in the cost of lodging and food, this is a great

deal - an inexpensive way to feed your soul, revive your relationship,

eat great food, and still find time to rest.

Directions and welcome packet will be sent to Retreat Participants once payment is received. Our first session begins at 7:45 pm on Thursday night and we will be done by 1:00 pm on Sunday, but we hope you will check in early, and then stay late to take time to enjoy each other. Your room will be available for your use starting at 3:00 pm on Thursday.
